We had roughly 53 golfers and 100 attendees for the Saturday night banquet. This was our first event without long-time Treasurer David Dixon '69, who passed in January. We continue to have a great core group who return every year, but also a good number of first-time guests. We like to say that if you join us once, it will become a yearly tradition. Jay Helm '70 and Mac McCrory '71 were recognized for their years of dedicated service to the University and to the Gamma Delta Chapter by receiving the prestigious honor of being named Significant Sigs, and we had the honor of their presence at our banquet Saturday night. We heard many stories that took place in the sixties and seventies, but could have just as easily taken place recently. It was also an incredible opportunity and event for Sigma Chi recruitment efforts as many very generous donations totaling $5,000 were made to the young men who perform this duty. It was truly a special weekend and we hope you can join us next year. We hear stories of pledge classes having reunion weekends and I encourage you to bring your reunion to Stillwater to have it in conjunction with our event.
