Randy Moss on Monday. Perrish Cox a day later. Cox is getting a fresh start with San Francisco, signing a two-year contract Tuesday after being acquit- ted on sexual assault charges in Col- orado earlier this month. ''We are pleased to add Perrish to our team,'' general manager Trent Baalke said. ''As an organization, from ownership on down, we have done our due diligence and are con- fident that Perrish will be a positive contributor to the 49ers, as well as our community.'' San Francisco announced the deal on the first day of NFL free agency. The Niners also re-signed linebacker Tavares Gooden, a valu- able special teams player last season, to a one-year deal. On Monday, they signed wide receiver Randy Moss after he sat out the 2011 season. The format of the tournament was all par 3's from 67 yards to 180 yards. It was windy and the greens were hard and fast. The par for the course was 54. Daniel Frantz led Red Bluff with a 7-over. Peter Mitzel was right behind with an 8-over. Freshman Dylan Grossman was 14-over. Jordan Chapin,Kyler Puckett and Austin Smith rounded out the Spartans team. The Spartans started their season a week earlier at Brookside Country Club in Stockton. Although the Spartans finished in last place with a 500, returners Frantz and Mitzel both fired 4-over 76s to start their junior years. Chapin shot a 102 after struggling with the water hazards on the first three holes. Grossman finished with a 103. 8 6 4 5 OT 3 2 59 58 72 78 MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson to the Golden State War- riors, a person with direct knowledge of the deal said Tuesday night. The Bucks will receive guard Monta Ellis, forward Ekpe Udoh and center Kwame Brown, the person confirmed to The Associat- ed Press on condition of anonymity because the deal had not been announced. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the deal on its website Tuesday night. Speaking before Golden State's game at Sacramento, Ellis said he and Udoh were headed back to Oakland. ''It's not a bad thing, man,'' Ellis said. ''Not at all. We are going to another team to do the same thing we love to do. I'm riding back home with him.''
