The official capital campaign has come to a close, and it is with great honor that we tell you that more than 250 alumni donated $1,137,705 to the housing campaign. This campaign has left no doubt that Michigan Alphas from all generations are alive, well, and willing to support their brothers. For those of you who gave generously, we extend a sincere thank you on behalf of all Michigan Alpha alumni spread across the world. We are dedicated to building on our past success and looking toward our future progress. It is your generosity that will allow current and future undergraduates to enjoy the Michigan Alpha Grows Stronger through the Grand Chapter Conclave Jake Sliman '18, Ben Keller '18, Henry Adams '17, and Matthew Davis '17 kick off the 2015 Conclave at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn. A t the 2015 Grand Chapter Conclave in Nashville, Tenn., the chapter was represented by four undergraduates: Chapter President Henry Adams '17, VP Programming Matt Davis '17, Jake Sliman '18, and Ben Keller '18. Additionally, four volunteers attended: Chapter Counselor Lauren Campbell, Central Michigan '89, Alumni Advisory Council Member Ted Behnken, Toledo '82, Resident Scholar Peter Carpenter, Western Michigan '15, and Michigan Alpha AVC President Rick Stepanovic '12. The undergraduate members attended a number of educational programs focused on improving chapter operations, in addition to voting for groundbreaking legislation, mandating that all chapters implement the Balanced Man Program by the end of the calendar year. Volunteers participated in programming focused on recruiting and training new volunteers, new mentoring committee resources, property management, member safety, and risk management. Lauren and Rick also met with the SENH Board of Directors to update them on the chapter's progress through the AAC process and discussed SENH's continued assistance with facility management. Overall, it was an excellent Conclave, and we're looking forward to sending an even larger delegation to the 2017 Conclave in Orlando, Fla., where we aim to once again be recognized with the Buchannan Cup for outstanding chapters.
