Omicron Chapter Always Alpha Phi Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Fall 2015 RENOVATIONS COMPLETE GIVING: SISTER-TO-SISTER LAUNCHES THIS FALL T hank you, sisters, for your support of the chapter's new kitchen and dining room! The renovation this summer was quite a project—from cutting concrete floors and walls and repairing joists, to creating a beautiful and functional space for Omicron's collegiate members and staff. The results made all the hard work worth it. The space is amazing! The gleaming kitchen with serving line is modern and bright. The chef and staff have equipment to prepare more meals than ever. With the expanded seating in the dining room, we know the women will enjoy the renovations every day. The contractor tells us we have a solid, well-built home, which is just what we need to support our flourishing chapter. The stewardship of our chapter home is so important, and your help is important too. Major Changes in GreekTown When driving around GreekTown, it's hard to miss the construction signs and new buildings. Several sororities have undergone major renovations in recent years. There have even been two entirely new chapter houses built—the new TriSigma house and the Chi Omega house. Kappa Alpha Theta is undergoing a three-year renovation and Alpha Delta Pi completed a massive redesign and addition two years ago. Delta Gamma and Zeta Tau Alpha are planning to build new structures in the immediate future. Future Needs of Alpha Phi Because of your gifts, the updates at Omicron have helped keep our beloved home competitive with others on campus. We would love to receive input from alumnae about these long-range decisions. Joining Omicron's House Corporation Board is also a great way to get involved. Giving: Sister-to-Sister Launched As we make final completions on these recent renovations, we turn our attention to our wonderful sisters we know, love, and miss. We are launching a new project, Giving: Sister-to-Sister, which enables you to support Omicron and honor or memorialize special sisters in your life. As alumnae, we must continue to support Omicron; and what better way to do so than by honoring those sisters who mentored and supported us during college and beyond? Your gift will recognize the women who contributed to your past and present, while providing the resources needed for Omicron's future. See the enclosed giving form for more information, and please return your contribution today. What a perfect holiday remembrance!
