Additionally, two Iowa Gamma Phis received the top two scholarships awarded by the Phi Delta Theta Foundation: Austin Javellana 1818 was awarded the Arthur R. Priest Award, given each year since 1954 to the Fraternity's most outstanding undergraduate member, and Jackson Mores 1838 was given the Robert J. Miller Leadership Award, which goes to the undergraduate brother judged to have demonstrated the most outstanding leadership in his chapter and on his campus. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Recruitment Chairmen Nathan Pattee 1882 and Mason Magruder 1885, we recruited 28 new Phikeia! This brings our chapter to 105 members—73 active brothers and 32 new members. These huge numbers show that we are truly doing something great at Iowa State. JoIn phI delt for homecomInG As we progress into the fall semester, the men of Iowa Gamma are excited for Homecoming on October 31 with the women of Sigma Kappa. While I can't make any promises, we will as always be in the running for Lawn Display, Yell like Hell, and tournaments. We look forward to seeing many of our alumni return for Homecoming as well. It's always an amazing experience to connect with our alumni and hear stories from their time as undergraduates. We're excited to see what this school year has in store and, as always, you're welcome back anytime! Yours in the Bond, Matthew Harm 1842 Chapter President mdharm15@gmail.com
