Ohio State and Beta Phi Today
S
ince our chapter's return to Ohio State in 2004, we have certainly
been playing major league ball. Beta Phi has been honored with two
Hugh Shields Awards as one of the top 10 chapters in Delta Tau Del-
ta and ranked in the top 20 four of the past six years. e chapter member-
ship has soared past 150 men.
e undergraduates have been good stewards of our Shelter. e brothers
tout Delta Tau Delta as the best location on campus.
"I've lived in the dorms, an apartment and now the house. is
is the only time I'm going to be living in the same place again.
ere are cheaper places to live, but the location saves so much
time getting around campus. Combined with the brotherhood and
amenities, it is the best place to live on campus." –Jim Bruno '17
Lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday. Our ren-
ovation in 2009 installed a modern kitchen capable of handling
our growing chapter. "Eating meals with my brothers is one of my
favorite parts about living in." –Josh Ferencik '15
"Brothers who live in the Shelter are more involved, hold leader-
ship positions, and are more passionate about Delta Tau Delta."
–Troy Richter '16
Our Shelter remains the heart of Delt activity. "ere's not anoth-
er house on campus with a better location. Living in the house has
brought me closer to my brothers in a way no other experience can
provide." –Seth Mansfield '17
