continuing the legacy
F
or 75 years, the Gamma Chi Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha has
been an important part of Oklahoma State University. From
our founding in 1939 to the present, our proud history speaks
for itself. While many of our brothers have gone on to successful and
distinguished careers in business, law, medicine, and countless other
endeavors, the common bond of our brotherhood remains, along with
our shared principles and values. Most of us can trace the roots of our
success to one place: Pi Kappa Alpha. e early training we received
through our fraternity, including leadership skills, organizational
skills, social skills, teamwork, and character, has been integral to our
personal success.
Gamma Chi alumni have the opportunity to ensure the Pike
experience for future generations of men. e following pages detail
the steps needed to complete the construction of a new chapter house
on University Avenue. is project will not only serve the immediate
needs of our current undergraduates, but will provide a premier facility
for all Pikes to use and enjoy.
Now is the time for the living members of the Gamma Chi Chapter to
rise and commit ourselves to this grand endeavor. With our past and
present secure, we must now look to our future.
Much of what I have accomplished is due to my experience with Pi Kappa Alpha.
e fraternity and my brothers pushed me to study harder, take leadership positions,
participate in group functions, and be active on campus." – Dennis Packard '93
For the establishment of friendship on a firmer and more lasting basis; for the promotion of
brotherly love and kind feeling; for the mutual benefit and advancement of the interests of
those with whom we sympathize and deem worthy of our regard; We have resolved to form
a Fraternity, believing that, thus we can most successfully accomplish our object.
