Our Mystic Shrine Robert G. Baker Jr. '66 entered Our Mystic Shrine on April 16. Robert received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, where he was a member of the marching band as a talented trombone player. He became a computer programming entrepreneur, which provided a living for his family in southern California. Robert was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid pilot, and his passion for both hobbies was illustrated by his active involvement and leadership in many local groups. These included the Coto Riders, SoCal Pilot's Association, and the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 92, which catered to the Young Eagles introducing 8 to 17 year olds to aviation. In his 70 years of life, Robert always had a very strong Christian faith, and he was an active member of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest for roughly 24 years. Robert is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Natasha Brunstetter and Stephanie Jacobson; sons, Robert G. Baker III and Christopher Baker; stepdaughters, Kristin Black and Jaime Riggs; mother, Mildred Baker; siblings, James Baker and Joan Vicary; and seven grandchildren. Jon Kurjan '15, Chris Shipman '18, and Joe Rusek '16 pose with their dates for the River Boat semi-formal. Join Gamma Psi for Homecoming, Saturday, October 3. See page 1 for more details!
