Q : Can you tell me if any stations will be airing anything like the celebrity marathons where the stars compete in different sports, such as swimming and ca- noeing, like the old shows they had back in the '80s? — John Gnip, Youngstown, Ohio A : If you mean something along the lines of "Battle of the Network Stars," we don't know of any plans for a new one. It likely would be more complicated to put together something like that now, given the competition among the major networks that might make them less willing to sup- ply its personalities to a rival broadcaster.
