Friends of the Library Friends of the Library have scheduled their first meeting for 2 p.m. Sept. 10 in the library at 740 Third St., next to the police sta- tion. New members are welcome. Dues are $5 per year. Meetings are held the second Thursday in Sep- tember through May, with the exception of December. The first book sale to be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the library will be planned and discussed at the meeting.
