The Airborne and Special Operations Museum Downtown is no exception, educating its nearly 175,000 visitors yearly about the Armed Forces. The museum has become a place to honor and preserve the legendary feats of the airborne and special operations troops who have contributed so much to defending our nation's interests. ASOM provides a beautiful "welcome" for those entering Downtown, and the thousands of visitors who flock to Fayeƒeville year round. "We're very proud of the fact that we're Downtown," says Paul Galloway, Executive Director of the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation. He also credits the City and Chamber with their help bringing the museum to Downtown Fayeƒeville. "We're very thankful and proud of the City and the Chamber that helped us get Downtown." He says many of his volunteers take the time to talk with people not only about the museum, but educating visitors on the various shops and restaurants Downtown. "We're glad to be part of Downtown," says Paul. "We love it." If you haven't visited ASOM yet, this month is a perfect opportunity. Along with the great exhibits this month, this Saturday, August 15th is National Airborne Day at the museum.
