SMALL BUSINESS Motorsports shop relocates in Red Bluff The Corning Cash pro- gram has been in effect since August of 2013 and yet some are still unaware that we have this program. Its purpose is to keep dollars in Corning by encouraging people to shop in their own community. Right now we have 36 merchants who receive Corning Cash. They have a sticker by their regis- ter or on the window that says, "Corning Cash Partic- ipant Member." Each mem- ber is also listed on a bro- chure that is given when- ever someone purchases Corning Cash at the Cham- ber office. Corning Cash can be used as a gift, an award for your child or grandchild. It does not cost the mer- chant anything. They treat it as cash and give change and then the Chamber will redeem the total amount. There are $20, $10 and $5 denominations. Since its in- ception we have sold over $7,000 in Corning Cash. At the upcoming Olive Drop there will be a total $850 in Corning Cash that will be given out to 3 lucky winners. That is $850 that will be spent in Corning. We hope you will consider par- ticipating in this free pro- gram. Call the Chamber now for more information at 824-5550. Olive Festival The 26th Annual Olive Festival is coming up soon.
