July 20 - 26, 2015 Page 9 "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart: Your Month of Zen," www.cc.com/events/month-of-zen/live.html For those of you already going through withdrawal at the thought of no Jon Stewart once "The Daily Show" closes up shop next month, Comedy Central comes forth with this streaming of more than 2,500 episodes from his 16-plus years at the faux news desk. So get all the me- dia bashing, hypocrisy finding and authority questioning while you can because the party ends Aug. 6, coinciding with Stewart's farewell installment. "Shorts on Sundance.TV," www.sundance.tv/ series/shorts-on-sundancetv For the past decade, Sundance — both the channel and the film festival — has been home to award-winning short films, and now they have an online presence, too, with the launch of this new website. Each month, Sun- dance will release five films from its eclectic collection, which is curated by the festival's senior programmer, Mi- chael Plante, along with shorts produced by or starring the cast and crew of the network's Peabody Award-win- ning drama series "Rectify." "David Sheehan: The Other Side of Stardom," www.youtube.com/channel/UC4634AxNugDWfEL_ vXAt6Pw A fixture on TV news in Los Angeles for years, movie reviewer David Sheehan brings his thoughtful style of in- terviewing to the online realm with this new series. Each week, Sheehan will revisit one of his classic conversa- tions to bring the provocative thoughts of Hollywood's biggest stars to a new audience. Arnold Schwarzeneg- ger, Robin Williams, Julia Roberts, George Clooney and Jack Nicholson are among those featured. "Comic Strips," www.comicstrips.tv Stripping may seem an unlikely occupation from which to mine laughs, but that is the intention of this new offer- ing. Created by best friends Jaime Alyse Andrews and Angelica Pasquini, the series looks to shed light — and laughs — on the untold stories and complex personal backgrounds of strip-club dancers and counter media images of them being damaged or worthless.
