Bluegrassontapfor do wn to wn m ar ke t We met at the farmers market at North Side Park July 9 for this month's meet and greet and we had beau- tiful weather and a good crowd. Attendees enjoyed live music performed by Lenny Barbo on his fiddle and James Pendergraft who sang with his guitar. For the business card drawing a very special gift was provided. The Chamber donated the new farmers market tote bag and each vendor donated at least one item from their booth. The bag overflowed with all kinds of produce as well as items from the craft ven- dors like jewelry, crocheted item handmade cards and even a free meal from a food vendor. The vendors were very pleased to have the extra crowd and the entertain- ment. It was a very nice evening. We would like to thank all the vendors who donated toward the prize. Come out 5-7:30 p.m. Thurs- days to support the local farmers and crafters. Even when the weather is hot, there is shade and usually a nice breeze.
