Our Plan to Ensure the Legacy of Alpha Mu

ow is the time to expand and renovate the chapter house to meet the needs of current and future Thetas. Through careful study, assessment, and
planning, it has been determined that updates to and an expansion of the chapter house are necessary. The Alpha Mu Facility Corporation Board
and undergraduate leadership have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the Theta experience at the University of Missouri. Working
with Connell Architecture P.C. and Studio Home Interiors in Columbia, the Facility Corporation Board has developed a tactical approach to our future.
GOALS OF THE EXPANSION AND RENOVATION
• Increase the number of women who can live in the house to over 100
• Renovate the kitchen and dining room, providing staff with
more functional space to prepare meals and an open dining space
for members
• Repurpose study space recognizing studying has become more mobile
• Provide outdoor space with a decorative brick wall for daily and event use
• Improve safety and security on the property
