A : She had several over the course of the series' run. For the first four seasons of the show, Sophia Crawford had the job of doing the heavy lifting — and punching and kicking — for Gellar, and she also had a more personal connection to its show: Her husband, Jeff Pruitt, was its stunt coordinator. For the remainder of "Buffy's" run, the duties of dou- bling Gellar were divided be- tween two people — Michelle Waitman and Melissa Baker. Even all those stunt substitu- tions couldn't keep Gellar total- ly free from harm on the show, though; she broke a bone in her hand while filming the 1998 episode "Homecoming." Per- haps you've seen that the Mark Feuerstein-starring series just started its seventh season on USA Network on Tuesdays. A : Michael Fishman has said the 1997 end of the sitcom marked the start of a tough period for him, over- come as he was to be sepa- rated from the cast and crew members who had been a second family to him for nearly a decade. Though he would find guest roles on "Seinfeld" and "Walker, Texas Ranger," and was seen briefly in the Steven Spielberg-directed 2001 movie "A.I. Artificial Intel- ligence," he concentrated on his craft by taking performance and technical courses at the Orange County (Calif.) High School of the Arts. Citing the 2002 death of former "Roseanne" co-star Glenn Quinn as a motivation, Fishman has placed added focus on work as a writer and producer, and he earned a 2007 Emmy nomination for his production-design work on "Sports Science."
