Chi Psi at Ole Miss
What Every Legacy Dad Needs to Know
O
ur policy at Alpha Gamma is to give every Chi Psi legacy—from our Alpha and from Alphas
across America—every possible consideration during the recruitment process. With some
1,200 men expected to participate this year in formal recruitment (previously known as "rush"), we
need your help so we can identify our legacies in advance. Here's how:
• Let us know directly—and the earlier, the better. Contact Alumni Advisory Board
Chairman Doug Buglewicz '96 at (662) 801-5804 or doug017@hotmail.com, or the Alpha
Recruitment Chairman Ryan Hamill '17 at rthamill@go.olemiss.edu.
• When your son registers for formal recruitment online, make sure he "checks the boxes"
and indicates his status as a legacy of Chi Psi. Using this information, the University
provides a heads-up to the recruitment chairman.
Chi Psi is known throughout the fraternity world as a "family fraternity" that spans the nation and the
generations. With your assistance, we can nurture and preserve this tradition for those who follow us.

EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
Building a Strong
Foundation
Alpha Gamma Focused on
Chi Psi Values
T
his has been an exciting year at Alpha
Gamma. We initiated 21 Brothers into
the Bonds and have seven members working
toward active membership. In terms of
community involvement, 80% of them
are involved in organizations outside Chi Psi.
We have many members in leadership positions,
whether they are executive or assistant roles.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
We have made great strides in academics, with an
overall GPA of 3.05, and we are striving for a GPA
above 3.25. Any member found below this average
will participate in proctored study hall hours.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We have decided to work with Charity Water
as our large-scope philanthropy and the YAC as
our local philanthropy. We plan to build events
around these causes. We are steadily building
our rapport with the Oxford and University
communities. Brothers are encouraged to
participate in outside events and organizations,
in light of the value we place on developing
well-rounded individuals.
CAMPAIGN EXCITEMENT
Aside from our many successes this semester,
the thing that has all members standing on pins
and needles is the electric atmosphere generated
from the new Lodge. With our hard work in
other areas that exemplify Chi Psi, we hope to
have a strong base of true fraternity by the time
the Lodge foundation is poured.
Yours in the Bonds,
