PAY IT FORWARD Your investment in Mu will directly impact the lives of our current and future members. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young college women with an environment that offers a solid foundation for their education and affords them opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. We gratefully acknowledge the generosity and efforts of those who went before us. Now it is our turn to stretch our giving and support the financial challenge associated with this project. Our investment in the future of Mu ensures the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater sisterhood. The commitment that we make today cannot be underestimated; it will have a ripple effect on the lives of our sisters for years to come. GIFT STRUCTURE Because of the magnitude of this project, we are encouraging all alumnae to seriously consider participating in our campaign. Pledges can be spread over a five-year period; however, early gifts are preferable to help reduce borrowing costs. Gifts in honor or in memory of other Delta Gammas or family members, as well as family gifts, are welcome. DONOR RECOGNITION A plaque that will be prominently displayed in the new chapter house will display names of all who donate $2,500 or more. All contributions of $1,000 or more will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS We know tax deductibility is important to our donors and we are honored to work with the Delta Gamma Foundation to make this possible. The Internal Revenue Service will allow tax-deductible dollars to be spent for space in the chapter house that is used exclusively for educational purposes. Contributions of $10,000 and more to the Delta Gamma Foundation and designated for Mu chapter will be eligible for this option. These tax-deductible gifts will also add to your lifetime giving levels with the Foundation. NON-TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS A large portion of the chapter house will be deemed non-educational. As a result, there is a need for contributions that are not tax deductible. Contributions under $10,000 will be directed to Mu house corporation and are greatly needed and appreciated. ONLINE GIVING There are a number of other ways to participate, including check, credit card, ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments or stock transfer. If you are associated with a company that has a matching gift program, please consider this opportunity. Alumnae are eager to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Collegians are excited about more social space, updated amenities and the continuation of Delta Gamma's gracious presence on campus.
