Liam confronted Bill about publishing the scathing articles about Maya. Ivy was forced to defend Liam when Ridge accused the Spencer family of causing a media frenzy for Forrester Cre- ations. Rick got a surprise visit from Caroline, who was offering support. Ridge made a last-ditch effort to convince Eric to affect Rick's ouster. Later, Eric rendered his decision. Rick poured his heart out to Caroline about his rela- tionship with Maya. Steffy returned to Los Angeles to tend to a family matter. Bill displayed no remorse over his exposé of Forrester. Days of our Lives Theresa realized Kimberly gave her the perfect opportunity to come between Melanie and Brady. Melanie gave Brady his answer. Ben confronted Abigail about what he saw between her and Chad. Rafe and Chad sought Will's research on Clyde. Theresa gave Melanie an ultimatum. Kevin told Mariah that Paul was following a new lead in the murder investigation. Dylan admitted to Nick that he and Sharon are together.
