Thursday, January 5, 2012 – Daily News 7A Obituaries DANIEL MARK MOLARIUS Daniel Mark Molarius passed away December 25, 2011 at his home in Corning, CA. He was 53 years old. Dan was born in Corning, CA and was the oldest of sev- en siblings. He grew up and attended schools in both Corning and Red Bluff where he loved playing football. He graduated from Corning High School in 1976. As a young man Dan hayed with his grandfather, Blaine Os- born, but he spent the majority of his working career driving truck and he became an owner/operator in 2009. He was "living the dream". He was a big guy with a huge heart. He loved watching or listening to football and baseball, holding babies, getting together with family and driving his truck. He was a hard working guy that truly cared about others. He never hesitated to "help a guy out". He was as honest, sincere and loyal as anyone you would ever want to meet. He had many friends and trucker buddies that knew him as Dan, Danny, Buttons and Dymaduzn and I'm sure they all have a memory of him that will bring a smile to their face…he loved to tell a story. He will be dearly missed by so many including his best friends of many years, Randy "Joe" Lamont, Jim "Sh- orty" Quillan, "Racing" Bob and Bob Lubben. He leaves behind his wife, and love of his life, Aletha (Kary) Molarius. His mother Rochelle (Mike) Noda of Corning and father Dale (Cathy) Molarius of Lodi, CA. Mother-in-law Marie Parker of Red Bluff and father-in-law Noel (Kathy) Kary of Ocean Park, WA. His son's Jesse and Jordan Molarius of Red Bluff and step-children, Adam (Heather) Bishop of Cottonwood, CA, Hillary Bishop of Redding, CA and Matthew Peterson of Corning. He also leaves grandchildren Michael Molarius Jr., Kyrstlynn, Brayden and Branson Bishop and Jaxon Kavanagh. Judith was born in Baltimore, MD on October 15th, 1945 to Robert and Barbara Ann Barber. Her older brother, Terry Barber, lives in Washington State. She was a cum laude graduate of Chico State University with a specializa - tion in Liberal Arts and a continuing student of Life. She is sur- vived by her children and grandchildren: Rodney Allen Riddle of Clear Lake, CA; Cordelia Lee (Christian) and David Swanson, Duluth, MN and their twin Daughters Annika Lee and Maya Bella; Jay Franklin Jenkins of Red Bluff, CA, and his children. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, close friends, good neighbors and Bunny. Born Jan. 17, 1942, to Jessie John L. & Edna Durden in Tampa Florida, Therasa was a sister to the late Emogene Durden and Donald Lee Durden and is survived by her sister Roylene "Ronee" Jacques of Red Bluff, CA and her brother Earl Durden of Hemet, CA. Therasa met her husband Robert Ridley in 1975. They were an example of true love and friendship. She loved numerous hobbies, including sewing, making jewelry, ceramics and painting, and crochet. She enjoyed any sports that her grandchildren participated in as well as traveling and cruises. Therasa loved the Lord and at- tended church as regularly as her health would allow. She was a wife, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She had a profound influence on everyone especially the children and grandchildren in her life. She touched many and was loved by all. Therasa was fiercely inde- pendent and sometimes stubborn, but was always putting her family and friends first. She would say that her family was her greatest achievement. Therasa is survived by her four children; a son, Roland Kelly and his wife Sandra, daughter Tammy Hargrave and her husband Scott, daughter Teresa Nickerson and her husband Tage, and son Raymand Ridley and his fiancé Sarah Rider. Therasa will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren William Kelly, Sean Kelly, Meaghan Kelly, Garrett Hargrave, Nicole Hargrave, Cole Nickerson, Seth Nickerson, and Sarah Ridley. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She was a blessing to us all. A memorial service will be held in honor of Therasa's man MARYSVILLE (AP) — Police have arrested the suspected gunman in the weekend shooting death of a Marysville man that also allegedly involved a Beale Air Force Base airman. Marcus Hume was taken into custody Tues- day afternoon after police tracked him to a house in unincorporated Yuba County. Police say Hume and five other suspects went to the home of 38-year-old Steven Moore on Satur- day and got into a fight with him. Officials with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Tuesday there is enough information to consider protecting the Sierra Nevada red fox. Until recently, the sub- species was thought to be confined to the region around Lassen Peak. But in 2010, federal biologists discovered a population of the elusive foxes near Sonora Pass, about 90 miles south of Reno. The agency says based on its small population size, threats from off-road charges of inflicting cor- poral injury on a spouse or cohabitant, force or assault with a deadly weapon and threatening a crime with intent to terrorize.
