An artist's love for downtown yields vibrant work that celebrates the city
rtist Greg King loves downtown Fayetteville and creating art, so having his acrylic and oil paintings hanging in Circa 1800 is rewarding on two levels: Not only does the goal-oriented King achieve his goal of creating beautiful art, but he furthers the success
of the heart of the city, as well. King, who lives in a loſt apartment downtown and helps give loſt apart-
ment tours, started painting when he was living in New York City in 1994. He was an actor in New York, an art form he continues today in shows at Cape Fear Regional Theater, and he currently runs a commercial property company with his father called H & G Properties.
