Burglary • Someone in the 500 block of Spyglass Drive in Red Bluff reported about 6:30 p.m. Thurs- day that a woman was trying to enter their locked vehicle. Officers were sent and contacted the woman, identified as Georgiann Espinoza, 37, of Red Bluff who admitted to the officers she had tried entering the locked vehicle to get a cigarette lighter. Espinoza was booked into Tehama County Jail for attempted burglary. During the arrest, offi- cers were advised Espinoza had 5-year-old son with her. It was later learned the son was with his father at the time of the arrest. Fires • No one was injured in a residential structure fire reported at 7:43 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Monroe Street. The fire did $55,000 damage with a $15,000 save before it was contained at 8:08 p.m. The cause is unde- termined. CalFire, Red Bluff Fire and the Dib- ble Creek and Antelope Volunteers of Tehama County Fire responded. •A vegetation fire reported at 4:05 a.m. Friday in the 14700 block of Hilltop Drive, west of Red Bluff, was caused by the improper disposal of hot ashes. Lost • Someone reported Thursday evening hav- ing their son bring home to their Third Street residence in Red Bluff a 10-year-old boy who was homeless. The reporting party said the location of the boy's parents was unknown. Red Bluff Police logs show Child Protective Services was called and the boy was turned over to them. Pursuit •Tehama County Sheriff 's Department logs show an assist for Cottonwood bullrider Keith Roquemore, pictured here, won in the 2010 New Year's Eve NBC Bullriding Bash. Roquemore was originally reported as a having a no score after a ride on a bull named Boomarang, how- ever, he was given a re-ride on bull number 666 and came up with an 82 to advance to the finals where he scored an 84 on Pickup Man to seal the deal. Doors open for the 2011 event at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for Diamond W's annual National Bullriding Championship New Year's Eve at the Tehama District Fair- ground. Pre-rodeo is at 7:30 p.m. and opening ceremonies at 8 p.m. in the Pauline Davis Pavil- ion with a dance to follow the bullride. Corning Police in a foot pursuit at 1:38 a.m. Thursday in the area of West Street School in Corning. The incident involved a man who jumped over a fence and headed toward Grant Avenue. The person, who was last seen wear- ing a blue and black flannel shirt, was miss- ing a left shoe. An area check was made of Grant Avenue, Lincoln Street and Fairview Avenue, but the person was not found. Nothing further was available. Thefts •A woman reported Thursday the theft of a Pioneer radio, valued at $200, from her unlocked 2001 Ford Explorer in the 1900 block of Jefferson end-of-year Mattress Clearance Street in Red Bluff. Items were taken between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday. • A man reported Thursday the theft of a subwoofer box with two 12" Sony Explode sub- woofers, valued at $300, a Boss 2000 Watt Amplifier, value $100, and a white storage capacitator taken from his vehicle between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 12:42 p.m. Thursday from the 200 block of Treasure Drive in Red Bluff.The following information is compiled from Red Bluff Police Department, Tehama County Sheriff 's Department, Corning Police Department and California Highway Patrol.
