Shelley is vice president-employment counsel and labor relations for Enterprise, which through its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-a- Car brands, operates more than 1.5 million cars and trucks and employs over 83,000 employees. In her role, she is responsible for the oversight and management of all areas of employment/human resources compliance and litigation, as well as traditional labor relations matters involving their unionized locations. In addition to her busy career, Shelley makes time to give back to Alpha Delta by acting as House Corporation Board treasurer. "As my children are a bit older, I find that I have a bit more time to give back. When my oldest son, Drew, came to Mizzou and joined a fraternity, we found ourselves visiting for football games and other events, and it made me remember the importance Gamma Phi played in my years there. I have so many amazing memories, like our first Bid Day Bash and learning the Gamma Phi clap. If you've lost touch over the years, please come back! Do what you can to reconnect, either with your local alumnae chapter or through social media. It's been a blast catching up with sisters I haven't seen or heard from in quite a long time. I encourage you to do the same!" "I can't imagine what my college experience would have been had I not pledged Gamma Phi. All the talk about sisterhood and lifelong friendships and bonds is absolutely real. I lived it and loved it and would like to thank each of my Alpha Delta sisters for making those years so special and memorable." Shelley and her husband, Kurt, live in Wildwood, Missouri, and have three children: Drew, a junior at Mizzou ("a man of good taste, as he's been dating a Gamma Phi, Molly Stoops '12, for more than three years"); Matt, a high school senior who will attend Wingate University in North Carolina on a lacrosse scholarship; and Lauren, a freshman at Lafayette High School in St. Louis. Shelley spends much of her free time supporting her children in their various activities. Family is very important, so she takes full advantage of those moments. Shelley also enjoys spending time at their lake house, boating and fishing, as well as traveling. You can contact Shelley at shelley.m.roither@ehi.com.
