Peter Dunn, of Santa Cruz, who bought property in Corning where he plans to retire eventually, drove up with the 1969 Dodge Charger Friday night along with his son Peter Vincent Dunn who is 10. "We recovered a male from the river," Lt. Yvette Borden said about 2:30 p.m. "I can tell you it matched the description of the gentleman from the (Wednesday, April 29) incident and was located in same area as he was last seen." At 4 p.m., the name of the de- ceased, who was identified using tattoos, was given in a press re- lease as Jason Wayne Freisner, 37, who had been listed as being a transient living in the Red Bluff area. Freisner was reported missing at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday when the Sheriff's Department responded to a possible drowning in the Sac- ramento River near the Anteloepe Boulevard Bridge. "We do this for the commu- nity," said Latino Outreach Pres- ident Anna Maldonado. "We do this event to provide informa- tion and education for commu- nity members of all cultures and to allow different agencies and businesses to promote their re- sources."
