I will be an electrical engineer designer in the transmission, power distribution and substation division. Down the road I see myself doing similar work in the electrical engineering field, but at more of a management level with more expertise. Delta Upsilon helped me achieve what I have today by providing me with many leadership opportunities and teaching me values that are crucial to have in any career and everyday life." - Jared Meyer '15, senior, Fenton, Mo. "My main focus is to attend law school at UMKC. In 10 years, I hope to be a practicing patent attorney. I believe my background in engineering will prepare me well for this career. Of course Delta Upsilon has set me up with numerous connections and references, but I believe it has done much more than that. From the social aspects to the competition to do well in academics, Delta Upsilon rounds young college boys into men ready for the future." - Quinten Campbell '16, junior, Belton, Mo. "Delta Upsilon has taught me how to become a better man and so many lessons that I will learn in my four years here will help me become a better person in all aspects of life." - Brent Lindenman '18, freshman, Naperville, Ill. "Joining Delta Upsilon was one of the best decisions I have made. The amount of guidance and support I received from older brothers has helped me grow both personally and professionally. The majority of my leadership positions on campus resulted from my involvement in DU, and it is still impressive to see the significant presence the chapter has in campus organizations. This summer I will be joining JPMorgan as a summer analyst in their investment bank and hope to continue with the firm after graduating in May 2016." - Chris Huetsch '16, junior, Chesterfield, Mo. "After graduation I plan on working with a public accounting firm in St. Louis, Chicago, or Kansas City. After several years of work in that field, I see myself leaving the public accounting world and moving to a private company to work with their finance or accounting department. Delta Upsilon will help me achieve my goals because I am currently the vice president of finance, which gives me some experience and responsibility that will help me down the road." - William "Billy" Hasselfeld '17, sophomore, Chesterfield, Mo. "In 10 years I would like to be the head of my own company. After spending some time as an employee of a larger company and building a foundation, I hope to be able to set out on my own. Delta Upsilon has helped me by developing my leadership skills and by some of the older guys mentoring me. I think that if I am to start my own company, I will be greatly aided by the networking I will have established from being part of the brotherhood." - Connor Wolenski '17, sophomore, Kansas City, Mo. "In 10 years I see myself as a leader in my company with multiple accomplishments under my belt, striving for many more. I hope to see myself as a passionate activist in the betterment of the community and economy through working as hard as I can and representing myself and organization in line with my values of integrity and cooperative leadership. Delta Upsilon will help me achieve all of my career goals by setting a foundation for being a role model who displays the four founding principles of promotion of friendship, diffusion of liberal culture, development of character, and advancement of justice. By successfully applying the principles of Delta Upsilon, I can easily be guided down the path of financial, domestic, and workplace success without any effort outside of living my life as I would want to in order to represent my fraternity and self in a healthy manner." - Michael Lanham '18, freshman, Ballwin, Mo.
