CHAPTER ETERNAL
Ann Eicher Bain '47 passed
on to Chapter Eternal on
November 2, 2014. She
was the beloved wife of
the late Jack Bain and
mother of Steven, Daniel,
Julia and Laura. She was a
dear grandmother to seven
grandchildren and a wonderful friend and sister.
Betty Montgomery Rowland '66 entered
Chapter Eternal on October 31, 2014. Her
life was filled with musical activities and
volunteering. Her true passion was her family.
Betty is survived by her husband, Donald, her
four children, 13 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

Virginia Walsh Andrews '48 and her
husband, David, enjoy visiting their two
great-grandchildren in the St. Louis area. They
also go to Florida every winter for four to five

LoVene Kraus Claypole '50 is 84 and still
traveling. She recently visited South Africa,
Zambia, Swaziland, Malawi and Mozambuque.

Helene Haxton Oliver '50 retired from
elementary education in Country Club Hills,
Ill. She is a former school board member and a
mentor for Govenor's State Alternate Certification

Helen McGuire Jones '51 congratulates the
Alpha Nu Chapter on the house updates. "Change

Lea Jarrett Hecht '60 and her husband,
Harvey, have been traveling the world since their
retirement. They have been to Paris, Hawaii,
Greece, Italy, the Caribbean, Maine, Colorado,
Florida and Texas. They also keep busy by
spending time with their children, grandchildren

Linda Waller Borgstede '61 reunited after 20
years with her Alpha Chi Omega buddy and
roommate, Margaret Duffett Gormly '63. "We
live on opposite sides of the U.S.; me in Florida
and Margie in Washington. We are still laughing

Catherine Miller Youngblood '67 and her
husband, David, celebrated 45 years of marriage
in June 2014. They live in Sealy, Tex., and are
blessed with four children, six grandchildren and
good health. Catherine has been a teacher for 25
years and will retire after this school year.
Jean Elbert Keith '68 took the trip of a lifetime
during summer 2014 with her son, daughter,
ACW sister Barb Weber Sommer '67, and her
family to the Galapagos Islands.
Lianne Young Hollander '73 is enjoying teaching
middle school art in Jefferson City, Mo. She is
actively involved in the Jefferson City Art Club,
Delta Kappa Gamma education Sorority, Missouri
Art Education Association and Alpha Chi Omega

Laura Hill Connors '75 was recently promoted
to the assistant director position of the Broward
County library system. She and her husband,
Joe, have two daughters who live in New York
City and Denver. Laura visited the chapter house
last year before the Mizzou vs. Florida game
