Dear
Ladies:
My
congratulations
to
the
Facility
Corporation
Board
of
the
Gamma
Phi
Chapter
of
Kappa
Alpha
eta
Fraternity
on
your
decision
to
renovate
and
expand
your
chapter
lodge.
e
administration
of
Texas
Tech
University
has
appreciated
the
leadership
your
undergraduates
have
provided
the
university
for
over
60
years.
Your
alumnae
have
gone
on
to
key
business,
professional,
political
and
academic
positions
throughout
Lubbock
and
the
nation.
e
fraternity
and
sorority
community
is
alive
and
well
at
Texas
Tech
University.
Approximately
17%
of
our
undergraduate
students
are
Greek,
and
the
Panhellenic
community
is
expanding
with
the
addition
of
Alpha
Xi
Delta
in
fall
2015.
Many
fraternities
and
sororities
are
planning
and
carrying
out
renovations
to
improve
the
features
of
the
Greek
lodges.
Obviously,
these
projects
can
only
happen
as
a
result
of
support
from
alumnae.
Your
decision
to
provide
an
excellent
social
environment
and
first-rate
study
and
meeting
accommodations
will
enhance
the
overall
university
experience
for
your
undergraduates.
Fraternity
and
sorority
members
remain
loyal
to
their
university.
A
high
proportion
of
leadership
in
the
Texas
Tech
Alumni
Association
and
the
Texas
Tech
University
Foundation
are
fraternity
and
sorority
alumni.
University
administrators
and
faculty
realize
the
fraternity
and
sorority
experience
fosters
involvement
and
loyalty.
A
strong
university
depends
on
strong
undergraduates
and
supportive
alumni.
Kappa
Alpha
eta,
through
its
undergraduates
and
alumnae,
has
contributed
to
Texas
Tech's
strength
for
over
60
years.
Your
support
of
the
building
project
will
help
ensure
that
contribution
continues.
Congratulations!
Yours
truly,
Robert
Duncan,
Chancellor
