"NCIS" and "Scorpi- on" have split that title lately. Since each show you named still has regularly featured fe- male characters, we assume you're referring only to the actresses who have left them in recent times. Each situation differs. For example, Jeanne Tripple- horn's two-season contract for "Criminal Minds" was up, and the parties decided to part ways — and she was promptly replaced by Jennifer Love Hewitt, so that show has maintained its quota of female regulars. As for "Person of Interest's" Sarah Shahi, she left to tend to her pregnancy with twins, and all indications suggest she will return to the series at some point. Q : Why was Dakota Johnson of "Fifty Shades of Grey" on the re- cent "Saturday Night Live" 40th-anniversary special? Had she been on "SNL" before? — Doug Stark, Lakeland, Fla. A : She hadn't, but at that point, she had been lined up as the Feb. 28 guest host of the NBC late-night staple ... so she was sort of a mem- ber of the "SNL" family before she technically became a member of the "SNL" family.
