At the time, Marie Claire magazine said the photo came "from a December 2013cover story from Ma- rie Claire Mexico and Latin America. It appears that this un-retouched version is a leak." Photographer John Russo's lawyers have sent a letter to Britain's The Telegraph publication demanding it take down the photo from its website and apologize.
