t's been an exhilarating several months at
Ohio Theta Chapter as the renovation and
expansion of the chapter house have taken shape.
With little more than painting and landscaping
left on the project list, on December 31 the
chapter was given official approval to move into
the new area of the house.
As exciting as it is to think about the expansion
finally coming to life, we must not forget about
one of the most important components of our
project: fundraising. In order to pay down our
bank loan as quickly as possible and avoid
leaving a burden of debt upon our undergraduate
members, we must achieve our fundraising
goal of $1.4 million—and the time to donate is
running out as we will host the Grand Opening
Celebration on May 15 and 16.
There are a lot of factors that will determine
whether we can conclude this project successfully
and raise the remaining $144,180. The one
fundamental factor we can control is how hard
we work over the next month and a half to get
every last pledge we possibly can. Simply put,
we have a goal that we must meet. It's not
complicated; it just requires a commitment from
each and every one of us.

If you are one of the more than 785 alumni
of Ohio Theta Chapter who has not made a
donation to this effort, we strongly encourage
you to do so this week.
