COLLEGIATE ACHIEVEMENTS, AWARDS, AND HONORS FDQ • Since 2011, the chapter has grown from 60 to 98 active members—18 men above the campus average. Missouri Alpha has accomplished this with a strong showing in recruitment, pledging 34 new members in fall 2014. • Missouri Alpha was awarded the Iron Phi Chapter award in 2014, a MO Alpha first, for raising more than $18,000 to help fight ALS. • Missouri Alpha won the IFC Spotlight Chapter award in 2013, which is given to the chapter that displays the four IFC values: leadership, brotherhood, scholarship, and service. • The chapter received special recognition at the 2013 St. Louis Vision Walk for raising funds and awareness for Foundation Fighting Blindness. "I want to make the Phi Delt name known on campus by rebuild- ing our im- age. We have made exponential strides but still have room for improve- ment. With alumni support and involvement, we recruited a 34-man pledge class in the fall of 2014—the biggest class since the 1990s." –Chapter President DJ Bucholz '17 "During my 20-year experience as a member of the House Corporation Board and Chapter Advisory Board, I was fortunate to have my son pledge Missouri Alpha. That experience gave me an opportunity to see the chapter intimately, not only as an alumnus but as a parent. I am convinced that the future of a healthy Missouri Alpha chapter relies heavily on the direct participation of its alumni, not just financially, but with moral support as well." –Lynn Miller '70
