NEED: e current mortgage is now under $600,000 and has been
paid down steadily through generous gis in previous campaign
phases, as well as operational income. e elimination of this debt
would provide a financial stability for future generations of Delts.
So, all campaign proceeds above our goal will be contributed to
reducing the mortgage.
With improved financial footing, the House Corporation
will actively plan for the long-term maintenance and capital
improvements of the Shelter. In addition, rent for the
undergraduates will remain competitive on the KU campus.
VISION: e mortgage will be reduced, leaving the House
Corporation in a sound financial position.
