Maybe biceps? 8:00 a.m. Shower. 9:00 a.m. Work fl ow! How I'll really start my weekday mornings in 2015… 6:30 a.m. Alarm goes off . 6:35 a.m. A er hearing alarm for fi ve minutes, roll over and hit iPhone snooze button. 7:00 a.m. Alarm goes off again. 7:30 a.m. Begrudgingly wake up… 9:05 a.m. Get to work…fi ve minutes late. We all start the New Year with high hopes and high goals. Maybe they will be met during the year, or maybe they won't. Personally, I have set the bar pretty high for 2015. And I really hope that my weekdays start at 5:00 a.m. with a protein shake (or at 6:00 a.m.) I am tired of having what I call "struggle days" and I truly believe in the old saying, "the early bird gets the worm." Many of you may view 2015 as a second chance in losing those last 10, 15 or 20 pounds. Know that what may work for some people fi tness wise, may not work for you. Mix it up. Yoga may make for a relaxing Sunday, hit the weights during the week and spend your Saturday on an intense hike. Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with the mountains in western North Carolina. My "swolemate" (read more on page…) is really into backpacking, so his form of bonding is taking long weekend excursions into the woods, fi ltering water out of creeks and eating dehydrated meals made weeks in advance. As I am writing this, I am also mentally preparing myself for a 15-mile hike on the Tennessee border. A er you read this, be sure to ask me how I fared. 2014 was the warm up. 2015…well, it's game time. e di tor s e di tor s e di tor s e di tor s e di tor s e di tor s c or n e r c or n e r c or n e r H EAL T H H EAL T H H EAL T H AN D AN D AN D F I T N E S S F I T N E S S F I T N E S S F I T N E S S F I T N E S S F I T N E S S
