Brief history: Defendant was originally granted 3 years formal probation. He violated his probation by testing positive for drugs and admitting drug use. Sentenced to 5 years State Prison. People vs. Lynn Jondro, Sexual Battery. Brief history: The De- fendant, more than 50 years older, inappropri- ately touched the victim. Sentenced to 2 years State Prison People vs. Christopher Baker, Escape. Brief history: The De- fendant was released from jail on the ankle monitor program after he read and understood the program rules. Two hours later he cut off the ankle moni- tor and threw it in a gar- bage can outside of Burger King. Sentenced to 2 years State Prison. People vs. Johnathan Mendez, Failure to Appear While on Bail. Brief history: The de- fendant was originally granted 3 years formal probation. He violated his probation by failing to re- port his current address with probation, testing positive for drugs and ad- mitting drug use. Sentenced to 2 years Lo- cal Prison Recent County Jail Commitments: People vs. Cody Demer- ath, Unlawful Sexual In- tercourse. Brief history: The De- fendant had sexual inter- course with the victim, who was underage, on sev- eral different occasions. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Vanessa Pratt, Negligent Discharge of a Firearm, with Special Al- legation — Great Bodily Injury. Brief history: The Defen- dant shot a .38 caliber re- volver into the ground 5 times after having an ar- gument with a companion, when one of the bullets ric- ocheted and hit the victim in the leg. Sentenced to 180 days county jail. People vs. Maxwell Wag- ner, Assault by Means to Likely Produce Great Bodily Injury. Brief history: The Defen- dant and victim got into an argument. The Defen- dant ended up punching the victim several times in the face after throwing him on the ground. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. People vs. Travis Jackson, Possession of Ammunition. Brief history: The defen- dant was stopped for a ve- hicle code violation. Offi- cers located several rounds of ammunition inside the vehicle along with digital scales and 12 pounds of marijuana. Sentenced to 120 days county jail. People vs. Bryan Tracey, Failure to Appear on Own Recognizance. Brief history: The De- fendant failed to appear in court while he was out on his own recognizance for a felony case. Sentenced to 90 days county jail. People vs. Sally Stege, Vandalism. Brief history: The de- fendant went to the vic- tim's home after an argu- ment over animals, and vandalized the inside of the home, tearing up fur- niture and smearing food on the walls and floor. The Defendant later admitted what she has done. Sentenced to 30 days county jail. Brief history: Defen- dant was arrested and charged with the murder of a 14 year old victim who had been reported miss- ing when she never re- turned home from school. Officers located the vic- tim's body two days later. Change of Venue Re- view: December 15, at 9 a.m. in Department 1 Review & Sanctions: December 29, at 9 a.m. Department 1 People vs. Joseph Cadotte, Voluntary Man- slaughter with Special Al- legation Prior Any Felony; Battery with Serious Bodily Injury with Special Allega- tion Prior Any Felony Brief history: The De- fendant saw the victim walking down the street, when he approached him and punched him. The victim fell to the ground where the Defendant con- tinued to punch and kick the victim. The victim later died. Pre-Trial Conference: January 5, at 1:15 p.m. in Department 3. People vs. Travis John Kilburger, Solicitation of Murder (2 counts) Brief history: Defendant was in custody on domes- tic violence charges when he solicited another in- mate to kill two individ- uals in exchange for cash and a vehicle. PTC/MIL: February 20, at 1:30 p.m. in Depart- ment 3 TBJ: March 11, at 1 p.m. in Department 3 People vs. Jessie Lee Ro- bison, Murder with Special Allegations Use of Deadly Weapon, Prior Felony, Prior Strike, Prior Serious Felony. Brief history: Defen- dant and victim had been fighting when the defen- dant pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim later died as a result of his injuries. Arraignment on Infor- mation: December 29, at 1:15 p.m. in Department 3. People vs. Poly Duenas Sanchez, Lucio Nenecia Madera, Gabino Madera; Murder with Special Alle- gation Personal and Inten- tional Discharge of a Fire- arm, Conspiracy to Com- mit a Crime with Special Allegation Personal and Intentional Discharge of a Firearm, GBI. Brief history: Victim had met up with the three defendants regarding money that was allegedly owed to the victim. During this confrontation the vic- tim was chased down and shot twice with a shotgun. The victim died as a result of his injuries. Arraignment on Infor- mation: December 15, at 1:15 in Department 3 People vs. Tyler Allen Burrone, Vehicular Man- slaughter Brief history: Defen- dant was driving his ve- hicle down the highway and failed to notice that the victim's vehicle had stopped in front of him and was attempting to make a left turn. Defen- dant rear ended the vic- tim's vehicle and forced it into the path of an oncom- ing semi truck. The five year old victim inside the vehicle received fatal inju- ries as a result of the crash and the child's mother was seriously injured. PTC: December 15, at 3:00 p.m. in Department 1. People vs. Roger Sandy Bounnhaseng, Alan Duane Doulphus Jr., Chase Alan Doulphus: Murder, special allegation felony murder, personal and intentional, use of a firearm, assault with a firearm, false impris- onment by violence, trans- portation of marijuana. Brief history: The defen- dants went to a residence that contained a marijuana grow. The defendants con- fronted the victim and two other men who were at the residence and ordered them to the ground at gun- point. The defendants pro- ceeded to tie up the victim and the two men with zip ties and duct tape. The vic- tim was able to free himself and attempt to flee the res- idence but was shot several times by the armed defen- dants. The victim eventu- ally succumbed to his in- juries. Defendant's vehicle was located a short time later and a vehicle pursuit followed. Defendant's were eventually apprehended and taken into custody. Inside the vehicle officers located a large amount of marijuana. PTC/MIL: December 19, at 11 a.m. in Department 3. TBJ:January 8, at 1:30 p.m. Department to be de- termined.
