Working with the tigers was a natural transition for him, he said. Smith sought out work- ing with the animals when he moved to the Los Ange- les area in 2003, he said. The show features trained behaviors and tricks, but it is followed by an "educational show and tell." Eye of the Tiger will per- form on the east lawn at 3:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. Fri- day; 2:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday; and 1:30, 3:30 and 6 p.m. Sunday. SPECIAL Continued from page 1B The usual activities and lunch will be pro- vided, but there is more happening this year, said Larry Stevens, the local representative to the California Developmen- tal Disabilities Board. "We're stepping it up to let people know and to break down some bar- riers between what some people conceive and reality," Stevens said. "We want to accentuate the ability and get rid of the (disability) attitude." There will be a voter registration event for consumers by con- sumers. The general public also can register to vote. 331 Oak Street, Red Bluff, CA 96080 (530) 526-4545 tasteoftehama.com Today's Special Peo- ple Program at the fair will start at 11 a.m. at the Kierstiens Stage.
