elcome to the fall edition of the Mu Chapter Strand of Pearls
alumnae newsletter! The chapter members and House Corporation
are happy to share our updates with you. I hope you enjoy the alumnae and
chapter news included in this edition!
Summer Projects Completed
The House Corporation is pleased to let you know that several major
projects have been completed since our last newsletter. Over the summer,
the wireless Internet infrastructure was upgraded, the exterior and interiors
of the house were painted, updates were done to the chapter room, and
finishing decorative touches were completed in the living room, foyer,
and scotch room.
Welcome Back, Holly!
We were very happy to welcome back Holly Scheeringa Umland '05 as
house director this fall. Holly previously served as house director for six
years and is an alumna initiate of the chapter.
Maintaining Our Home
We will share more plans in future newsletters and opportunities for
alumnae to assist in our efforts to keep the chapter house a safe, well-
appointed, and modern home for our members for many years to come.
