T hank you to all who have contributed financially to the Preserving Our Past, Securing Our Future campaign. To date we have raised $1,169,629 toward our $1.5 million goal. Since we announced our campaign last spring, we are happy to report the Chapter is stronger than ever and we are doing well at the University of Michigan. Much-needed updates to the exterior of the facility and to the common areas are still being finalized and the work is slated to start in summer 2015. We have made great progress with our capital campaign, but we need to increase our contributions to ensure our Chapter is on a solid financial foundation. The total project cost is $1.3 million. This is on par with other fraternity projects around the country and on our campus, and in order to compete, updates to our facility were imperative. In order to reduce our debt and make it much more manageable, we must fundraise the entire $1.5 million. The excitement around the Chapter House is palpable. We have already seen its help with recruitment and our undergraduate brothers are proud to share about the support Theta Theta alumni are giving. They too have given back to the campaign by pledging to donate $25,000 toward our campaign efforts. It truly is a great time to be a Sigma Chi at the University of Michigan. This campaign is so important to continue our success and your help is needed immediately to help us reach our goal as quickly as possible. • If you have not made a pledge, please do so now. We know you want to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. • Many brothers have taken advantage of our convenient five-year pledge program to maximize their giving potential. • All donors contributing a minimum of $5,000 to the campaign, over a five-year period, will be recognized on a plaque prominently displayed in the Chapter House, and all donors will be recognized in campaign publications. • If you know of an alumnus who has not stepped forward with a gift, encourage him to make a pledge immediately. The need is huge, and the time is now. Please don't wait, use the enclosed pledge form to make your pledge to Theta Theta today.
