Our Fish on Fridays, and our Prime Rib on Saturdays is going VERY WELL. Our Chicken Fried Steak is another favorite. So, come on in and enjoy a relaxing meal along with excellent food. ~ Carl & Crew Quartzsite - COPs (Citizens On Patrol) Volunteers Marilyn McFate and Mary Ann Peck delivered Treats (no tricks) on the Monday before Hal- loween to shut-ins and community members. They would like to thank Sgt. Xavier Frausto and Quartzsite Police Dept. for all their support. The volunteers gave out over 100 bags of goodies again this year. COPs provide safety checks on seniors living alone or individuals who are unable to move about. The service is very well received by the com- munity and most people really appreciate knowing someone will check on their loved one and offer assistance if needed. During the summer, COPs volunteers also check on vacation homes. Citizen Patrol Volunteers become more familiar with their commu- nity and are better able to recognize "suspicious" activity and notify the authorities. In addition to wearing identifi able uniforms and driv- ing in marked patrol cars, they also act as "Eyes and Ears" for local law enforcement.
