The Los Molinos Ma- sonic Lodge #150 in coop- eration with the Los Moli- nos Chamber of Commerce hosted the Second Annual Community Mixer Oct. 24 at the Los Molinos Masonic Family Center. Chamber members, Ma- sons and Eastern Star mem- bers were welcomed to the event by Dean Cofer and VIPs, including Board of Su- pervisor's Chairman Steve Chamblin and his wife, were introduced. Attend- ees then proceeded to enjoy fellowship, food and the op- portunity to visit. Past Master Darrel Deatherage spoke about Masonry and its history of over 150 years in the Tehama and Los Molinos area. He was followed by chamber Treasurer Jeannie Gallagher who gave a report on the state of the chamber. Attendees expressed ap- preciationtoRoxieRoseCofer for arranging for and setting out the decorations, refresh- ments and door prizes. A good time was had by all, with everyone looking forward to the mixer in 2015. PaskentaFallDinner The Paskenta Commu- nity Hall invites you to the semi-annual Fall Din- ner Fundraiser, Gun Raf- fle & Dance Saturday, Nov. 8. The dinner includes bar- becued lamb and steaks, baked potato with top- pings, green beans, green salad, french bread, coffee, tea or water. Desserts are provided by guests. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner is at 6 p.m. Tickets for adults are $15, children 6-12 are $6 and 5 and younger eat free. Tick- ets sold at the door. There will be a cake wheel and raffle, $10 for gun raffle. Corning in the Evening Take note that the chamber's monthly meet and greet will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, instead of Thursday. The Olivet Lodge #205 will be hosting a dinner that eve- ning at 1120 ½ Solano St. It is upstairs next to the parking lot by the cham- ber office. Bring your busi- ness card for a chance to win a door prize and bring your appetite. Little Miss Christmas Applications are still available for girls between 4 and 6 years old to en- ter the Little Miss Christ- mas Pageant that will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Woodson Elementary School. Entry fee is $10 plus a $10 unwrapped toy to be donated to the fire- man's toy drive for Christ- mas. Lighted Christmas Parade Entry forms for the Lighted Christmas Parade, set for Dec. 6, are now available on www.corning- cachamber.org or you may pick one up at the cham- ber office, at 1110 Solano St. Entry forms will also be mailed soon to those who have been in one of our parades in the last two or three years. If you would like one mailed to you, please call 824-5550. There will be no Home- town Christmas this year with the all-day events. There will be no craft and food vendors, art show, free rides and kid's activ- ities, but we do to resume these activities next year.
