Bynes has been in a Southern California psychiatric facility for 17days, since her par- ents hatched a plan to get her back from New York and into the care of doctors. The actress reportedly stopped taking her medication a couple months ago. She went to New York and started acting strangely again, includ- ing making claims she was under mind control and accusing her father of molesting her as a child, which she later refuted. TMZ reports Bynes' doctors went to a judge on Monday, when her stay was due to end. Sources reportedly told the website doc- tors told the judge she is "very ill" and in no shape to care for herself.
