His project consists of installing a short disc golf course around the playfield at the Bend School. Garrett is a 2008 graduate of Bend School. While planning his service project he wanted to show his appreciation to the school staff and community by expand- ing the recreational and physical education opportunities at the school. LM Highway Celebration Proves To Be Notable The celebration at Los Molinos late yesterday afternoon and evening over completion of the twelve mile stretch of highway between that place and the Butte County line proved to be a particularly happy occasion. Hundreds from Red Bluff, Chico and other towns in Tehama and Butte counties shared in the keen enjoyment provided by the good people of Los Molinos and vicinity. It was a gala event for that splendid community and will pass into history as one of the most notable affairs ever held in this county. — Aug. 19, 1921 How about spending some good, quality time together with your youngster while attend- ing the Cottonwood Community Library Fall Storytime program?
