En- tertainment Television, where she's now seen on "Live From E!" several nights each week and has a recur- ring series of her own, "Untold With Maria Menounos." Q : What's the story with "Ty- rant"? Is it being renewed for a second season? — Nancy Beja, Columbus, Ohio A : The story is yes, the FX drama has been renewed for another 13 episodes slated to start running next summer. While first-season reviews for the series were mixed, it definitely hasn't hurt that the ex- ecutive producer and showrunner is Howard Gordon, whose track record is evident from the titles "The X- Files," "24" and "Homeland." His new deal with 20th Century Fox Television — the studio behind "Tyrant" — likely helped the show's renewal, too. Q : How did Matt Passmore go from being an easygoing de- tective on "The Glades" to a sexy wannabe-escort on "Satisfac- tion"? — Linda Alvarez, via e-mail A : Um, it's called ... acting.
