Letitia Hanke-Ryzhkov CEO/President A small-town girl from Hidden Valley Lake, California, Letitia Hanke-Ryzhkov grew up dreaming of a music career. Recognized from childhood for her lovely singing voice and other musical talents, she attended Sonoma State University envisioning a future in the performing and recording arts. When the opportunity arose, she took a position at a prominent roofing company and managed the business for 8 years. In 2004, she started her own roofing company Alternative Roofing Solutions and Sonoma/Napa/Marin Seamless Gutters now known as ARS Roofing, Gutters & Waterproofing. 2014 marked 10 years in business and 18 years in the industry. She currently employs 16 full time employees servicing most of the North Bay. ARS specializes in Commercial and Residential roofing particularly HOA Communities, Apartment/Condo Complexes and Industrial/ Commercial Buildings. Her company provides 24/7 emergency repair service and guarantees their work. ARS donates 1% of every reroof and gutter replacement to the school or college of their client's choice. This program was started in hopes to alleviate some of the burden that our schools face with budget cuts. ARS donations can help allow schools to continue their music and performing arts programs or buy school supplies that are needed. Fortunately, after years of being bullied in elementary school, Letitia took to music as a way to boost her self- esteem. Performing music in elementary, middle and high school kept her out of trouble and she truly feels it allowed her to excel in school as well. If making a small donation to a school means that it could help a child excel in their learning or explore music, then she is happy to assist. Some of her accomplishments include receiving a 2014 Business of the Year Award from Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsome, 2008 Spirit of Sonoma Honoree award winner, and is currently the President of the North Bay Black Chamber of Commerce which encompasses Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Lake Counties. Her hobbies are traveling, relaxing at the ocean, bowling, playing music, hanging with her 12 year old son and family, cooking and sci-fi movies. Letitia prides herself on creating a calm and relaxing experience when working with her company from the moment you call for the estimate to the end of the job. Without the hard work, strong ethics and passion of her employees there would be no ARS.
