3 news news news NU NU NU T he vacation is over. We are back and getting our "acts" together. We are ready to get on with our new responsibilities. I hope that all of you had an enjoyable summer relaxing with family and friends. We are ready to begin our school year and thank many who have aided with the on-going projects, including: OUR ALUMNI Special Effects Award – The house has been deep-cleaned from top to bottom. I'm serious… not kidding! The Sprinkle Award – A lawn sprinkler has been installed! Think About It Award – Landscaping is in progress. The Yucky Award – We're in the process of re-doing the basement bathroom; getting quotes as we speak. I sort of feel sorry for who gets it! OUR MOMS Special Effects Award – The Mom's Club donated $3,000 for the cleaning. Best Production Award – They produce. We appreciate! Best Editing and Adapting – For the best looking Sigma Nu directory. Best Family Day Hosts – For all families of Sigma Nu. Best Decorating – For the house at Christmas. Best Mothering – They rock with their babies AND they also surprise them with food during finals week. Best Loving Support – Moms supply items for the auction and then they buy them back from each other and then they go shopping to get new toys for the boys to play with. BROTHER, CAN YOU SPARE A DIME? This old house has good vibrations. So, I'm casting my spell on you! Please stand by me. We need pennies from heaven and from you, my brothers. Because of you, I'm wishin' and I'm looking over a four-leaf clover. How deep is your love? Please, don't be cruel…light my fire. That lucky old sun is ready to ac-cent- tchu-ate the positive and have all brothers come together. I got a feeling…we need empty chairs at empty tables. Life could be a dream if we had NEW empty chairs at empty tables. I can see clearly now that we need some straight talk now. Brother, Can You Spare a Dime? Please, I can't begin to tell you; I've checked out every source I can find for durability, strength, good looks, and good vibrations. WE NEED NEW TABLES AND CHAIRS We cannot feed everyone at once because we don't have enough of either. We are starting to do work on the dining room and these are essential. We've rushed so well that our success is over the rainbow. House Happenings By Housemother Sally Nixon Brothers celebrate the marriage of Dan Gallagher '11, Nu 2285, and Lauren.
