Beta Eta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon • P.O. Box 307 • Wentzville, MO 63385-0307 Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Beta Eta Chapter, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Inc. 1107 State Street Rolla, MO 65401 Dear Tau Kappa Epsilon alumni, I am pleased and excited that the Beta Eta Chapter has decided to construct a new, modern chapter house. The fraternity's legacy is the many Beta Eta alumni of whom we are so proud, with a family of more than a thousand members since its founding on this campus on March 9, 1947. Whether known as the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, the University of Missouri-Rolla, or now Missouri University of Science and Technology, our campus and TKE have provided those members with an unparalleled life experience. In addition, the alumni base has contributed generously through both financial and leadership commitments, including prominent leadership roles in the Miner Alumni Association and the Missouri S&T Board of Trustees. Today, Missouri S&T's Greek system is flourishing and constitutes about 22% of the student body. Greek members play a crucial role within the University and Rolla communities through their academic achievement and demonstration of both leadership and philanthropy. The impact the fraternity expe- rience has on young men's lives cannot be overstated. The decision to provide a premium facility will only enhance the overall collegiate experience for the members of Tau Kappa Epsilon. I strongly support our fraternities and sororities and look forward to the success of this project. I hope TKE alumni will support this campaign as well, in turn securing the strength of the bond and the future of Beta Eta Chapter for the next 100 years. Warmest regards, Cheryl B.
