Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi 7 Melodie Powell '75 is an attorney and lives in Kansas City, Mo., with her husband, Jerry Short. She notes, "It's a small world! Jerry and I recently attended the Jefferson Club dinner in Columbia. At our table were Don and Suzanne Howser, parents of New Member Director Anna Howser '12, and Bob and Joanie Dixon, grandparents of freshman Collette Theodour '13! So cool when we made the connection. Both couples commented how much their daughter and granddaughter love Alpha Phi and the house." Mary Ann Purdham Hammock '79 is a CPA employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Springfield, Mo., as an agent in the Special Enforcement Program, which specializes in the prosecution of tax fraud.
