Ties to Tau page 2 Eventful Spring Events We kicked off the semester with Anchor Splash, which raised more than $2,600 for Service for Sight. Greek Week was also successful for Tau. We took first place in Follies, which is a co-ed dance/skit that we perform with our fraternity partners. Hundreds of spectators attend this event. Overall, Delta Gamma ranked fifth. DG Welcomes New Members Tau participated in spring Continuous Open Bidding and initiated seven wonderful women to our chapter. Welcome, ladies! Tau Chapter Awards At the Greek Awards banquet, Delta Gamma received a certificate for being in compliance with the University's tier system, as well as being nominated for chapter of the year! Convention Highlights I was honored to attend our biannual convention in late July as the Tau collegiate delegate, which was an amazing experience. I met hundreds of woman who share the same values as I do, as well as love for DG. I saw the large-scale impact that our fraternity makes to the world each and every day. With the fall semester underway, we look forward to many more successes and accomplishments for Tau.
