Daniel graduated in May with a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from UC Merced where he is now employed as a lecturer. Elizabeth graduated from Chico State in May with a degree in Nutrition Science. The couple honeymooned in the Napa Valley and has made their home in Merced. Business Men to Discuss Plans for Rodeo in October A largely attended meeting of the Red Bluff Busi- ness Men’s Association is expected to be held at the Chamber of Commerce rooms this evening, in response to the call of President W. H. Fisher for a special session. It is reported that the chief matter of interest scheduled for consideration is that of formu- lating plans for a rodeo to he held in conjunction with the Tehama County Fair the first week of October. — Aug. 2, 1921 Janell Fitzgerald, of Plum Crazy Hair Design and Boutique, presented Pat Ashby, Lassen House community relations director, with a check for $400 to the Alzheimer’s Association. It was the Plum Crazy’s entire proceeds from Lassen House’s Flea Mart fundraiser July 23. All money raised goes toward the annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walk later this year in Chico to raise money for a cure. New classes offered The Corning Family Resource Center is holding a few new classes in August. The first one is a computer class for beginners on Tuesday afternoons. Participants must register.
