DTD Beta Zeta Shelter The Beta Zeta Remembers Frank Carbon '40 F r a n k C a r b o n ' 4 0 p a s s e d a w a y o n Friday, January 31, 2014, at the age of 96. He was born in Hulberton, N.Y., the son of Frank and Esterine Carbone, and has been a lifetime resident of the area. He was a World War II veteran who served 27 months in New Guinea and the Philippines Islands. He was a member of the Jewell Buckman Post 529 and enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Italy, and Russia. Frank was an avid bowler and golfer and had 3 holes-in-one. He is survived by his dear friend, Peggy Look, many nieces, nephews and friends. Brother Carbon helped support our BZ Shelter campaign and will be recognized with a memorial brick in our courtyard. Save the Date: Homecoming September 26-28, 2014 The 4th annual alumni cocktail event will be held September 26. There will be tours of the new wing available.
