DTD Beta Zeta Chapter I Delta Tau Delta Fraternity I Butler University I Fall 2014 Beta Zeta Shelter The Join Us for Alumni Cocktail Hour September 26th, 2014 Matt White Wing to Open January 2015 To donate, please visit www.butlerdelts.com T he Beta Zeta Chapter renovations and addition are well underway, and a great deal of progress has been made since we broke ground on the project just a few short months ago. All renovations to the Shelter were completed this summer. The house parent suite has been completely gutted, redesigned, and expanded. We also relocated the women's restroom and increased in size, which was well overdue. Finally, the basement kitchen was transformed into state-of- the-art study areas equipped with audio/video capabilities and furniture to give our members cutting-edge space while allowing for more productive fraternity meetings to take place. The Matt White Wing is on track for a January 2015 completion. As you can see from the photos taken by Jeff LeFors '05 of Skye Guys LLC, the addition is taking shape and will complement the Shelter as a place future generations can be proud to call home. I want to thank all those involved over the past several years who helped to make this expansion happen. From the vision of the House Corporation members and advising team to all of our campaign board and era leaders, we couldn't have come this far without you. Countless hours have been spent in discussions, meetings, and on the phone gaining support. And to our committed campaign donors, none of this would have been possible without your participation. We are proud and humbled by each of you for answering the call to be a part of this endeavor. While the campaign has been a success and the participation far exceeded our expectations, we are still slightly under our original goal. Speaking of things to get involved with—who's headed to Homecoming this year? We would like to invite all of our alumni back as it will be a special opportunity to tour the new addition! On Friday, Sept. 26, we will host our 4th annual alumni cocktail event. This will be an evening filled with great food, refreshing drinks, and good company. Our architect (ArcDesign) and construction company (Brandt Construction) will be available for tours of the new wing, as well as to answer any questions you may have of the project. Please plan on stopping by your Shelter for this wonderful event. You will receive additional information regarding BZ Homecoming events via e-mail and phone this fall. We hope you enjoy the increased communication you've been receiving from the chapter. There are so many great things going on at BZ that we want to share with our alumni. We will continue sending newsletters and other communications to foster alumni relationships and spread the word of the great accomplishments of our dear Beta Zeta Chapter.
